DIY : Rick Rack Scarf

Even though it suddenly feels like spring here in Seattle today, I know for sure it can't be for long. Summers, or spring for that matter is really something in a far away land. But the good news is that there is still time to wear this beautiful scarf I had in my project basket for the longest time. Its called the  Rick Rack scarf, the pattern for which I got from this site. Purlbee is my favorite when it comes to simple and sophisticated patterns, with a twist.

Rick Rack is exceptionally simple if you know basic knit and purl. After that it is just a play of how and in what sequence those knits and purls are placed.

I used a blend of merino wool and cotton for this project

It really adds a texture to the scarf and makes the design pop.

Hope you give this pattern a try!

Happy weekend!
