If you are in northern hemisphere right now, there are some very bright chances that you are also surviving in sub zero conditions! I am in Delhi, India right now and I can bet those 29 years of my life that it has been the coldest birthday I have experienced in India!
For me winters is snonymous with cozy and warm scarves, hot chocolate and soups! Even though I have always been a fan of thick bulky cowls and have mastered the art of knitting them myself, this time I wanted something which is thin in texture and feel but still provides all the necessary warmth. This pattern called Hitchhiker is so popular in knitting circles these days, its hard to escape it and if you like something with a 'nerd' factor, definitely give this a thought! (If you have a ravelry account, you can find the pattern easily).
I picked up a blend of merino wool and silk to give a luxurious and 'drapey' feel to the scarf
This was clicked way back in early fall when there still was some sunlight left!
Picture bloopers are part of the game, right!?
Hope you are staying warm wherever you are! For me, in Delhi it translates to being in a comforter every non-walking moment!
